Performs assessments of the Campus electrical distribution and central utility plant electrical systems and equipment Oversees the design and replacementupgrade of electrical equipment and systems Acts as the project manager for electrical system maintenance and upgrade efforts Evaluates the electrical distribution systems for the campus and in the central utility plants and makes suggestions for improvements Plans and coordinates utility outages in support of maintenance amp repair and acts as primary liaison with campus projects that interact with existing utilities andor incorporate new utilities Coordinates any unplanned electrical system outages with affected parties and works to minimize impact to the campus community Provides analysis design and construction support for the Energy Management amp Utilities team Engineering amp Energy EampE unit other FM units and independent college projects and construction activities as they affect campus mechanical utilities Assures that project goals include the improvement of utility system reliability and efficiency
