Actalent is looking for a full-time Electrical Engineer to support our client, a leading design services organization, onsite in Syracuse, NY.

Job DescriptionSeeking an electrical engineer responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.The role involves 70% of the work within a school district, focusing on renovations, additions, demolitions, and gutting K-12 projects across the state.Approximately 80% of the day-to-day tasks will be dedicated to design, while 20% will be centered on construction administration tasks such as client phone calls, RFIs, and submittals.The engineer will prepare detailed electrical design drawings and specifications using Revit or AutoCAD.The candidate must have knowledge of electrical load calculations, lighting design, and power distribution planning.Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Skills:5 years of experience in electrical engineeringKnowledge of electrical load calculationsLighting designPower distribution planningProficiency in Revit (AutoCAD as a second option)Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldAbout Actalent
