Salary: based on experience & education ($100k - $180k) Location: East Central, IL - Champaign area – Relocation Assistance Available ·        FULL TIME / DIRECT HIRE / ON-SITE POSITION ·        Access to multiple large cities and 4 major Universities, within 90 minute drive ·        2 +/- hours to Chicago and Indianapolis Low cost of living, great opportunities with a growing privately held company Great Benefits, Advancement Opportunity, Fantastic Work Environment   MUST BE currently and permanently eligible to work in the US for any employer indefinitely without requiring sponsorship (legal US person) AND Green Card Engineers must be on the ITAR approved country of origin list   Electronics Engineer / Electrical Engineer You will be involved with component selection, circuit layout, assembly, testing, debugging, and validation for high-voltage switching and DC subsystems Working with: ·        Switched-Mode DC-DC Converters ·        High-voltage (kV) SiC Mosfets & GaN power electronics ·        High Current IGBTs or GaN High-Electron Mobility Transistors ·        HV circuit design & layout ·        Hardware fabrication  ·        Electronics test & measurement ·       Bachelors degree with 5+ years experience or a Masters degree with 2+years

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or greater and 5+ years’ Electrical Engineering OR Microelectronics experience with prototyping & production facility work backgrounds plus experience with LDMOS or high-voltage GaN RF electronics, and/or high voltage SiC or GaN power electronics, LCR design, and/or noise immunity and simulations through LT SPICE. ·        Basic circuit design, layout/BOM tools, such Altium/KiCAD ·        High voltage test equipment, diagnostic tools, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings ·        Mechanical design such as SolidWorks ·        Passionate about technology & looking to apply that passion to your career

This position is for someone that wants to be involved and collaborative with the rest of the team. On-site, you need to be there, hands-on, team member that will see the results of your work go into production and delivered to the end customer.
