Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead the R&D for our electrical engineering team, working closely with mechanical and manufacturing engineering disciplines to support new product introduction for switchgear technology. This role involves designing and developing new switchgear equipment for substations within the power utility industry, interfacing with production teams and sales engineers, and providing subject matter expertise. You will support utility companies on research and testing, assist sub-contractors during installations and testing, and coordinate directly with clients to meet specific customer needs and challenges. You will work with equipment like vacuum interrupters, air break switchgears, resistors, ground switches, hookstick, vertical and slant break systems, and motor operators, supporting 69kV to 500kV systems ranging in 1200A to 4000A.
