Title:

Electrical Engineer

As part of a team, work to design, develop, and deliver electrical engineering solutions supporting an integrated Directed Energy Weapon.Primary focus will include design and integration of custom circuit boards that allow discrete safety signals, communication/data interfaces, and power distribution systems supporting the mission equipment on platform.Assist throughout the manufacturing, testing, and integration process of in-house designs as well as evaluation of COTS products to meet capability requirements. Applicant should have a strong breadth of electrical engineering disciplines to include computer, microelectronics, signal processing, and power distribution.

Qualifications:

B.S in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of prior relevant experienceAbility to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.Ability to interpret and develop electrical schematicsExperience with printed circuit design and analog/digital application, Altium / Autodesk Eagle preferredExperience Researching, developing, designing and testing circuits, components and equipment systemsExperience evaluating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) parts for complianceExperience with software development, C, C++, Python preferredExperience with power distribution systemsUnderstanding of designing and testing to meet MIL-STDsCable/Harness drawingsInterprets the data, verifies product documentation, designs, layouts, or drawings for adequacy and reliability

Canididate demonstrates effective communication within a team environmentCapable of performing collaboration within multi-discipline system engineering teamMust be a team player and collaborate effectivelyMaster’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineeringRelevant hands-on experience is highly preferred (design/build)Ability to travel 10-25%
