Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with over 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an EIT certificate or be eligible to obtain one and have a strong working knowledge of building systems and codes. You will be responsible for performing various aspects of electrical engineering on multidisciplinary building design projects, ranging from small to large scale, for both commercial and government facilities.

ResponsibilitiesPerforming all aspects of electrical design services including conceptual studies, programming, schematic documents, design development documents, and construction documents under the supervision of a Senior Electrical Engineer or Principal.Participating in construction phases including field visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and preparing record drawings.Selecting and laying out electrical systems and preparing accurate, complete, and code-compliant drawings and specifications for schematic, design development, and construction document submittals.Conducting QA/QC reviews on assigned projects.Essential Skills3+ years of engineering experience.EIT certificate or eligibility to obtain EIT certificate.Proficiency in AutoCAD.Working knowledge of building systems and building codes.Experience with electrical design and drafting.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Revit is a plus.Degree in engineering.Clearable candidates preferred.Work Environment

This is an in-office position, requiring presence 5 days a week with flexible start times between 7am and 8:30am.
