ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical power, low voltage, and lighting systems.Create detailed plans & specifications using Autodesk AutoCAD MEP, and Revit MEP.Conduct surveys of existing bldgs that are being renovated.Participate in design mtgs to support the design process.Review and respond to RFIs during the bidding, pricing, and construction phases.Evaluate shop drawings throughout the construction process.Visit construction sites to identify and resolve potential conflicts or complete final inspections.RequirementsElectrical designProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitElectrical engineering or related degreeWork Environment
The team consists of the manager and two designers. The bulk of the workload is design, but there can also be other responsibilities as assigned. The firm specializes in schools but also works on industrial complexes, office buildings, healthcare, and other types of commercial buildings.
