Job Description

The Electrical Engineer supports the design, development, packaging, testing, and integration efforts of electrical/electronic systems and components that ultimately support the war-fighter. The qualified candidate will work under the general direction of a project engineering lead to perform electrical system design on a variety of military systems, ranging from combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions. The Electrical Engineer provides detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product application.

ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical system design on various military systems, including combat vehicles, gun systems, and guided munitions.Support the design, development, packaging, testing, and integration efforts of electrical/electronic systems and components.Provide detailed engineering analysis of components, subsystems, and systems for military product applications.Solve moderately complex technical design and development problems requiring professional engineering knowledge.Create and manage interface control documents.Perform circuit simulation using tools such as PSpice or LTspice.Create, read, and comprehend schematics and interconnect drawings.Effectively communicate data, information, and technical results to customers verbally and in writing.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.Four years of relevant experience or two years with a master's degree.Experience in creating, reading, and comprehending schematics and interconnect drawings.Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems.Ability to create and manage interface control documents.Proficiency in circuit simulation using PSpice or LTspice.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with relevant military and commercial design standards.Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, PSpice, and LabVIEW.Knowledge of computer programming languages such as C, C#, and LabWindows/CVI.Working knowledge of Visio.Familiarity with designing components for high EMI environments.Systems Engineering and manufacturing knowledge.Work Environment

This position can be either 100% onsite or a hybrid position with over 50% onsite work. The candidate should be local and available for onsite work as needed, without caveats.
