Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for various Electrical Engineering tasks, including board layouts, troubleshooting in the lab, electrical design, and documentation. Responsibilities + Design and layout printed circuit boards (PCBs). + Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in the lab. + Develop and document electrical designs. + Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful completion of projects. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on design. + Proficiency in using ECAD packages (Altium preferred, but open to Eagle, ORCAD, etc.). + Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters. + Knowledge of high-speed digital design concepts. + Experience with MIL Spec standards. + Understanding of embedded systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BS EE). + Proficient with Altium. + Knowledge of Altium Concord is preferred. + Experience with FPGA and DDR SDRAM is preferred. + Aerospace or aviation experience is preferred, but a strong interest in space applications is a must. Work Environment The team currently has more programs than engineers on staff, offering a unique opportunity to work on products that will be launched into space every four weeks. These products are integral to multiple programs, including lunar and Mars missions. With a smaller team, candidates will have the chance to work on the full product life cycle, from design to deployment.
