Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer responsible for developing new, cutting-edge In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) products. This role involves board-level design, testing, and documentation of new products.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electronic circuits and PCB assemblies.Work with multiple high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, eDP, USB, and DDR4.Design DC-DC converters with a strong emphasis on digital design and analysis.Perform qualitative and quantitative tests to determine properties, characteristics, and the performance of materials, circuits, mechanisms, assemblies, and systems.Analyze test data and select hardware and materials to ensure compliance with specifications and product requirements.Verify embedded firmware and higher-level software functionality of the product.Apply problem-solving methods to ensure compliance with all product specifications.Essential SkillsAbility to design against requirements from specifications, oral instructions, or preliminary sketches.Proven ability to lead the analysis and design of electronic circuits, and implement test methods and procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.Ability to resolve a wide range of design challenges.Additional Skills & QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (MS in Electrical Engineering preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in areas such as higher mathematics, electronics, and circuit design.Hands-on experience with digital or analog simulators.Three or more years of experience with microprocessor-based designs.Experience with high-speed interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, or DDR4.Experience in power conversion, specifically DC-DC converters.Work Environment

This is a 6-month contract position with the potential to be extended. The work environment is hybrid, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00
