Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Overview: Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Engineer, where you will work on architectural lighting and sports stadium lighting design projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing various electrical systems. Your tasks will include power distribution, creating riser diagrams, and organizing panel schedules. You will design low voltage infrastructure for IT and security systems, along with lighting design which encompasses fixture selection, controls, and lighting calculations. Additionally, you will handle low-voltage systems such as fire alarms, security, and controls. Your role will also involve calculating loads, fault currents, and voltage drops, as well as performing field surveys and providing support during the construction phase.
Responsibilities:
+ Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, focusing on low voltage, MEP, and fire protection.
+ Create detailed electrical drawings, plans, and layouts using industry-standard software.
+ Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support design decisions.
+ Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
+ Coordinate with other engineers, architects, and construction teams to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
+ Perform calculations and analysis to ensure the safety and efficiency of electrical systems.
+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project implementation and commissioning.
+ Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on low voltage, MEP, and fire protection systems.
+ Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.
+ Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
+ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with energy-efficient and sustainable design practices.
+ Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards obtaining it.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
