Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will support project teams in the design and delivery of services related to the design and construction of electrical systems for commercial construction projects.
ResponsibilitiesFunction as Electrical Engineer on assignments.Ensure coordinated design on projects.Contribute to estimation of projects, planning, and construction feasibility.Participate in the development of design drawings and technical specifications.Provide advisory information during the construction phase.Perform site surveys and contribute to engineering studies.Contribute to office, client, and project meetings.Monitor project production and schedules to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.Ensure the quality of the work produced maintains high standards.Perform engineering studies.Perform technical and coordination check-review of project documentation and drawings.Follow up on issues with design and production staff to resolve problems and concerns.Participate in internal project meetings on a regular basis, including being responsible for minutes.Act as liaison between our client (owners/primes) and the firm.Coordinate with owner/client representatives.Assure project's quality control and quality assurance standards.Ensure project design and construction issues are addressed and resolved to the benefit and satisfaction of the owner/client.Support the development of project scope, scheduling and budget, and/or construction estimating.Support the development of business in the region by pursuing new contacts and open communication with the current client base.Ensure all production adheres to company quality standards.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering6 to 10 years of experience in MEP EngineeringAbility and experience designing electrical systems for commercial construction projectsFamiliarity with AutoCAD and RevitAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with circuits, voltage, electrical design, schematic, and electrical engineering principlesStrong client management skillsProficiency in scope, budget, and scheduling managementPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00
