Job Description Company: Vertiv Position: Electrical Engineer Openings: 1 Manager: Quan Nguyen Location: On Site -5 days a week Lincoln, NE 1777 Yolande Ave, Lincoln, NE 68521 Duration: PERM Bill Rate: 75K 100K Interview Process: 1 & Done Onsite Interview Must Haves:  Bachelors Degree in Electrical or System Engineering  Experience with Auto CAD (Creo, or SolidWorks preferred)  Experience with the assembly and testing of prototypes, Diagrams, and internal wiring instructions  Experience with hands on soldering and wiring various electrical products  Needs to be someone who has done mostly hands on assembly (80% assembly/20% designing) Plus:  General knowledge of 3-phrase Power, Rack PDUs, or Power Transformers  Proficiency in Creo Schematic and Mentor Graphic Day to Day/Responsibilities: A client of Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for specifying, designing, developing, and implementing solutions to an array of new product development, operational improvement (productivity, safety), and reliability projects. Interfaces with program management, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that products deliver features and quality customers expect while maximizing manufacturability and minimizing overall cost Responsibilities: Assemble and test prototype designs. Generate work estimates, timelines, and cost estimates for projects. Identify, plan, design, and implement projects to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity, and ensure safety. Work with design engineering to fabricate fixtures to support product development, testing, and production Generate design documentation and bills of materials for implemented solutions. Ensure designs meet requirements and are technically sound. Support compliance and reliability testing efforts through test fixture design. Support global operations teams throughout new product introduction process. Install, repair, and/or rebuild production related equipment Confer with appropriate teams to resolve problems Work from blueprints, sketches, schematics, and verbal instructions to devise solutions Assist, advice, and instruct less experienced personnel to meet required technical and safety aspects of tooling operations Supports ISO Quality System, Quality Policy, and Continuous Improvement efforts SALARY: 100K We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
