Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electrical engineering tasks, including board layouts, troubleshooting in the lab, electrical design, and documentation. This role offers the opportunity to design products that will quickly be launched into space. With a smaller team, candidates will be able to work on the full product life cycle.
ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical engineering tasks such as board layouts, troubleshooting in the lab, electrical design, and documentation.Develop PCB boards and bring products from concept to delivery.Utilize lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multi-meters.Work on embedded systems and ensure designs meet MIL Spec standards.Collaborate with the team to support spacecraft and high-speed digital projects.Essential Skills10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, primarily focused on design.Proficiency in PCB design and ECAD tools.Hands-on lab experience, including the use of oscilloscopes and multi-meters.Proficient with Altium software.Understanding of high-speed concepts, FPGA, and DDR SDRAM.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BS EE).Knowledge of Altium Concord preferred.Aerospace or aviation experience preferred.Strong interest or desire in space applications if no prior aerospace experience.Work Environment
The team currently has more programs than engineers on staff, with products going into space every four weeks. These products are used in multiple programs, including lunar and Mars missions. The work environment involves hands-on lab work and offers the chance to contribute to exciting space applications.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00
