Job Title: PCBA Test Engineer

Job Description

Our company is a leading provider of innovative solutions in Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PCBA Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The PCBA Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining test strategies and systems for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies. The role involves ensuring the functionality and reliability of PCBAs by designing and executing test plans, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and validate custom bed of nails test fixtures for PCBAs, ensuring they meet functional and performance specifications.Perform and oversee testing of PCBAs, including functional, in-circuit, and system-level tests.Diagnose and resolve issues with PCBAs, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Develop and maintain automated test scripts and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.Create and maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and troubleshooting steps.Essential SkillsExperience with test procedure and testing circuits.Proficiency in Python and LabVIEW.Experience in hardware testing and testing PCBA boards.Software development testing using Python.Creating and managing test cases.Knowledge of electrical design and Altium.Experience in PCB design and firmware.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred, but candidates with an associate degree and 1-2+ years of experience within PCBAs are welcome.Entry-level candidates with internship or classroom experience in PCBA are also welcome.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00
