Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess or be eligible to obtain an EIT certificate and have a strong working knowledge of building systems and building codes. You will be responsible for performing multiple aspects of electrical engineering on multi-discipline building design projects for both commercial and government facilities.

ResponsibilitiesPerform all aspects of electrical design services including conceptual studies, programming, schematic documents, design development documents, and construction documents under the direct supervision of a Electrical Engineer or Principal.Engage in the construction phases including field visits, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and preparing record drawings.Select and layout electrical systems, preparing accurate, complete, and code-compliant drawings and specifications for schematic, design development, and construction document submittals.Conduct QA/QC reviews on assigned projects.Essential Skills3+ years of engineering experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus.Working knowledge of building systems and building codes.Experience in electrical design and drafting.EIT certificate or eligibility to obtain an EIT certificate.US Citizenship is required.Additional Skills & QualificationsEligible candidates must be a degreed engineer.Willingness and ability to obtain a security clearance.Work Environment

This is an in-office position, working 5 days a week with 8-hour days starting between 7am and 8:30am, depending on what works best for the individual. Our work environment is vibrant and engaging with diverse projects, including work on high-profile sites such as the White House. The office culture includes lunch ping pong, corn hole, Xbox, Wii, and dart tournaments. We host several events throughout the year including a Christmas party, employee holiday lunch, 2-4 cookouts, a fantasy football league, and an Atlantic City weekend trip.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.63 - $43.53
