Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will lead the design of projects within various markets including K-12, office, commercial, retail, data center, municipal, and government sectors. This role involves preparing reports, cost estimates, specification development, performing calculations, selecting equipment for specification, and preparing construction documents for bidding. The engineer will also conduct analysis, field investigations, and forensic investigations as needed. Additionally, they will represent the company in all communications with clients, architects, sub-consultants, contractors, and other project design team members.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.3-12 years of relevant experience.EIT or PE certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in K-12, office, commercial, retail, data center, municipal, and government markets.LEED Accreditation preferred but not required.Business-like mindset and prior experience forming positive client relationships.Work Environment
Work hours: Monday - Thursday from 7AM - 5PM with an hour for lunch, and Friday from 7AM - 11AM.Option to work in either the Richmond office or the Hampton area office.Richmond office comprises 5 team members: 1 Associate, 1 Engineer, and 3 Construction Admin staff.Initial workload involves 40 hours of design work per week, transitioning to approximately 20-25 hours of design and project management duties as client relationships develop.Primary work locations are in the Richmond and Hampton Roads areas.Ambitious individuals who can contribute to the growth of the company are highly valued.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00
Flexible work schedules. 2 days hybrid.
Half Day Fridays.
