Job Responsibilities: Design and Development: Create and develop electrical systems and components for oil and gas projects, including detailed schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams. Technical Assessments: Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to ensure designs meet project specifications and safety standards. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. Calculations and Equipment Selection: Perform calculations to determine electrical loads and select appropriate equipment and materials. Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases. Safety and Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to safety regulations and industry standards. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve design issues to optimize performance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience: 4-12 years of experience in electrical design for the Oil & Gas industry. Licenses: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Software Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar. Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards relevant to the Oil & Gas sector, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication, and teamwork abilities Skills: AutoCAD EPLAN Electrical Load Calculation Circuit Design Project Management Technical Documentation Problem-Solving Safety Standards Compliance Equipment Selection
