Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description Actalent is seeking an Electrical Panel Designer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical panels for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Responsibilities + Design and develop electrical panels, including schematics and layouts. + Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure designs meet project requirements. + Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed electrical panel designs. + Conduct detailed calculations to establish manufacturing and installation standards. + Inspect and evaluate electrical panels to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations. + Perform thorough testing of electrical panels and make necessary modifications. + Prepare and maintain technical drawings, specifications, and documentation. Essential Skills + Proficiency in electrical design and engineering. + Experience with AutoCAD and other CAD software. + Ability to design electrical panels from scratch and modify existing drawings. + Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics. + Experience with power or voltage systems. + Knowledge of PLC programming or troubleshooting. + Strong troubleshooting skills in power distribution, hardware, and circuit design. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in automation and PLC programming is a plus. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing/shop environment with office space available for engineers. Candidates must be comfortable working on the floor and getting their hands dirty. There is also an opportunity for career advancement for those with panel design and automation/PLC experience.
