Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description We are seeking an Electrical Panel Designer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical panels for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Responsibilities + Design and develop electrical panels, including schematics and layouts. + Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure designs meet project requirements. + Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed electrical panel designs. + Conduct detailed calculations to establish manufacturing and installation standards. + Inspect and evaluate electrical panels to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations. + Perform thorough testing of electrical panels and make necessary modifications. + Prepare and maintain technical drawings, specifications, and documentation. Essential Skills + Proficiency in electrical design and engineering. + Experience with AutoCAD and other CAD software. + Ability to design electrical panels from scratch and modify existing drawings. + Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics. + Experience with power or voltage systems. + Knowledge of PLC programming or troubleshooting. + Strong troubleshooting skills in power distribution, hardware, and circuit design. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in automation and PLC programming is a plus. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing/shop environment with office space available for engineers. Candidates must be comfortable working on the floor and getting their hands dirty. The role offers 2 weeks PTO, 6 holidays, and 6 sick days. There is also an opportunity for career advancement for those with panel design and automation/PLC experience.
