Masterite Division of DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer with the following qualifications.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Ensure assigned engineering projects, initiatives and processes are in conformance with organization’s established policies and objectives.
Key Performance Indictors:
• Support, enhance, design and build automated test systems
• Set up, integrate, and program test stations to automate test processes
• Develop LabVIEW software for product control and test automation.
• Analyze testing requirements.
• Analyze and solve circuit, set-up & test problems.
• Investigate innovative techniques for new test systems and embedded microprocessor controlled products.
• Support the build of Navy Weapons system.
• Manage the high level testing of boards and built units and direct repairs as needed.
• Support and Design testing devices to assist the manufacturing process.
• Support product cable, box, and backplane assembly testing.
• Design, build and program customized test setups to be used on the assembly line.
• Design and Maintain company products.
• Design and Re-Design products that are used to replace obsolete government and military equipment
Qualifications and Experience:
• Electrical Engineer degree
• 10 years of related work experience
• Extensive experience with National Instruments LabVIEW for Windows required.
• Experience in other high-level programming languages such as C, C++, and Windows Operating systems and applications very desirable
• Knowledge of RF and RF test systems a definite plus.
• Knowledge of Microchip product family and tools a plus.
• Graphic Software and Hardware, Communication Software, System Integration.
• Graphic Display Interfaces, I/O controllers, Communication Controllers, GPIB & USB
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) required.
• Must be familiar with current test, measurement, and control technology & analysis techniques.
• Must be familiar with MIL requirements as to manufacturing and parts
ADDITIONAL:
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• A neat and tidy personal appearance must be maintained
• Work evenings, days and weekends as required
• The ability to work and communicate within a team fast-pace environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with staff
• High level of integrity and strong ethical values are foundational requirements.
Operating Style:
• Ability to perform tasks with minimum supervision.(self-starter) hands on, direct and clear communicator, genuine, confident, Good interpersonal skills are a necessity.
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
