Electrical Engineer

Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems for MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies.Review and approve electrical shop drawings and submittals.Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.EIT Certification PreferredMinimum of 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on MEP projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00
