We offer a 9/80 work schedule where you can have every other Friday off. **Essential duties and responsibilities**
**What you’ll do:**
**You will have an important role in the day-to-day operations supporting new and existing programs. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and directly contribute to the success of the organization. You will be involved in some aspect of the following as appropriate to your background and skill level with all areas having growth potential.**
+ Circuit Design
+ Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal and RF circuits
+ Generate Schematics
+ Perform Simulations
+ Develop Prototypes
+ Perform Design Verification Tests
+ Write Reliability and FMEA reports
+ Lead Peer and Customer Design Reviews
+ Proposals
+ Evaluate customer requirements
+ Writeup technical design concepts
+ Develop block diagrams
+ Provide Bill of Material estimates
+ Customer collaboration
+ Product Development
+ Work with mechanical design to incorporate the electronic design
+ Component Selection
+ Thermal management
+ EMI considerations
+ FMEA
+ Work with manufacturing to streamline the build process
+ Develop in-process and final acceptance tests
+ Identify necessary tools and equipment
+ Define necessary assembly details specific to achieving the desired electrical performance
+ Product Qualification
+ Write EMI test plans and procedures
+ DO-160 based for commercial aircraft
+ MIL-STD-461 based for military aircraft
+ EMI compliance testing
+ Develop test setups and support equipment
+ On-site support for setup and test at EMI test facilities
+ Analyze and correct non-compliant results
+ Write final test reports
+ Product Sustainment
+ Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
+ RMA evaluation
+ Design improvements
**QUALIFICATIONS**
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required for the position.
+ Working knowledge of electronic circuits both theoretical and practical
+ Advanced understanding of test and measurement equipment such as power supplies, meters, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, modulators, and RF receivers
+ Ability to research, analyze and document technical concepts
+ Strong analytical and organized communication skills both verbal and written
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
+ Demonstrated success working in a team-based environment
**Education and Experience**
+ BSEE degree or higher is desired
+ All experience levels will be considered
+ A strong background in analog circuit design is desired
+ Experience with commercial or military aviation requirements such as DO-160, DO-178, DO-254 or MIL-STD-461 is advantageous but not mandatory
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, however you may serve as a coach, trainer, or mentor for other positions within the organization.
**Work Authorization/Security Clearance**
Due to federal contract obligations, you must be a US Person in accordance with ITAR.
**Physical Demands**
While performing the duties of this job you may occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and or arms to pull handles and push buttons and reach objects. Requirements may also include climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. You may need to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation
$70,000- $120,000/year
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.
