Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to engage in digital and analog circuit design in accordance with military specifications. This role involves interfacing with PCB and mechanical designers for packaging of finished circuitry, researching and testing new technologies and components, and managing prototyping activities from component selection through actual build. The ideal candidate will report clearly and accurately on work status and test results both in writing and verbally, and support part and component searches and research. Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year Top 3 Must-Have Skills: + Digital and Analog Circuit Design: Experience in designing circuits in accordance with military specifications. + Firmware Development: Ability to flowchart, write, and debug firmware in C. + Schematic Capture and Analysis: Proficiency in using Orcad for schematic capture and Spice for circuit analysis. Key Responsibilities: + Design digital and analog circuits in accordance with military specifications. + Interface with PCB and mechanical designers for packaging of finished circuitry. + Research and test new technologies and components. + Manage prototyping activity from component selection through actual build. + Analyze and troubleshoot existing products. + Support part and component searches and research. + Support build and set-up of test fixtures for production and development work. + Troubleshoot production issues on existing subassemblies and final assemblies. + Interface with customers on technical and new product inquiries. Qualifications: + B.S. in Electrical Engineering. + 3+ years of experience as a design engineer working with both analog and digital circuits. + Ability to flowchart, write, and debug firmware in C. + Proficiency in circuit analysis to predict performance. + Computer skills including schematic capture in Orcad and Spice circuit analysis. + Ability to communicate project results and status using Word, Excel, and project management software. + Additional Skills & Qualifications: + Experience with audio electronics and technology. + Familiarity with AS 9100 design control. + Experience with LabVIEW. Work Environment: The work environment includes a cubicle setup with an attached test lab. You will have access to automated testing equipment and will be given ample opportunities to learn and develop. This role offers a great learning experience, exposure to all aspects of the company, and the chance to work with Mechanical Engineers, Test Engineers, production teams, and experienced management. It is an excellent opportunity for someone to take the reins and learn all aspects of production. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.50/hr.
