Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with 1-2+ years of experience in low voltage wiring, wiring schematics, and AutoCAD. This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical understanding to support our senior employee with finalizing projects, handling tech calls, and assisting wiremen with electrical questions. Fire alarm experience is a plus but not required. Candidates from any industry are welcome. An electrical designer with 5-7 years of experience in finalizing would also be considered. Responsibilities + Create wiring diagrams and schematics for Fire Alarm panels. + Work with Fire Alarm Software. + Assist with tech calls for our customers. + Develop electrical systems and components based on project requirements. + Utilize CAD software for design and layout of electrical systems. + Assist with testing panels and wiring questions. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD. + Experience in low voltage wiring and wiring schematics. + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. + Ability to read a wiring schematic. + Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. + Adaptability to a fast-paced manufacturing industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Fire alarm experience is a plus. + Experience with metallics software is a plus. + CNC understanding and programming of NC files. Work Environment Our small, family-owned company offers a quiet work environment with individual projects and no micromanaging. We have high average tenure among employees and provide opportunities to work towards various certificates. Our office is small and quiet, with 14 total employees, not all working in the office. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, in person. We work on both local and international projects, including high rises, the LA Convention Center, and schools.
