Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will work alongside a team of electrical engineers and engineering technicians to develop engineering procedures and controls, manage project efforts, and lead in problem resolution. This role involves interfacing with program contractors and vendors regarding the technical aspects of engineering projects, test scheduling, planning, and test conduct. You will also research, assist with design, and integrate high-power transmitter systems.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain high voltage equipment used to perform electromagnetic capability testing.Plan and conduct electromagnetic compatibility simulation testing, data collection, processing, and analyses.Identify system malfunctions and coordinate repair and maintenance requirements.Collaborate with contractors and vendors on technical aspects of projects.Lead problem resolution efforts and manage project tasks.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or other relevant fields.3+ years of field experience with RF systems, including radars and magnetrons.Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment.Must be eligible for a clearance.Knowledge and experience using electronic test equipment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working as a team lead.Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors.Work Environment
This position is onsite at Navair from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings. There is an opportunity for growth after the contract and a 5% pay increase.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
