An amazing opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer.

This role provides a unique opportunity to become the primary Electrical Engineer for the site. The Engineer will play a key role in the Management of our site Electrical systems, Fire life and Safety systems and Corporate Environmental and Sustainability Goals.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:

Development, review, and approval of technical information including design documents, Hazops, Safety Risk Assessments, Work Plans, Commissioning documents and Asset Management data.Establish Equipment Criticality and apply appropriate reliability and asset management strategy based on criticality.Analyze performance and consumption data.Management of site Fire Life Safety systems.Develop, review and Improve Business Continuity plans.Ensure compliance to all Safety, regulatory GMP and Environmental requirements.Support site sustainability goals and implementation of global strategy.Oversee maintenance, inspection, and system upgrade programs.Manage vendor maintenance, services contracts, and relationships.Working with technicians and other functions to develop Corrective, predictive and preventative maintenance program to ensure designated site equipment operate safe and reliable. Optimise work tasks, ensure spare parts, tools or other services are available when required.Investigate equipment failures or deviations to find root cause and implement effective corrective and preventative Actions.Coach, mentor, and provide technical training to colleagues on electrical equipment and procedures.Develop and manage People, Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost KPI’s.Support Engineering Excellence Initiatives – participate in local and corporate programs.Pursue and use new technologies and methodologies.Own the initiation, management, and closure of change initiatives.Experience of working with Electrical Utilities and associate Asset Management.

Qualifications

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

Level 8 qualification in Electrical Engineering with evidence of continuous professional development.Experience of Electrical Systems, such as M.V. & L.V. switch gear, UPS systems, standby generators.Experienced in building services.Experience of Fire Life Safety Systems.Experience of electrical safety procedures.Knowledgeable of asset and reliability maintenance requirements.Experience of problem solving and continuous improvement.Working knowledge in use of Computerised Maintenance Management System.Experience of Instrumentation and Controls systems (desirable).
