Sigma Design has collaborated with a manufacturing company seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their facility in Hillsboro, OR. This company is a premier provider of state-of-the-art parts and services within the semiconductor industry.

+ Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
+ Monday – Friday, from 8 am – 4 pm
Primary Function:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for updating the company's electrical schematics library, designing and 3D modeling multi-layer circuit boards, and developing cable designs with corresponding drawings and work instructions.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities:
+ Updating the company's electrical schematics library
+ Work with a team across disciplines for developing and implementing cable designs including drawings and work instructions.
+ Work with our team on new product development that include integration of third party control systems including PCL programing.
+ Design and 3D model multi-layer circuit boards.
+ Support manufacturing initiatives and improvements of manufacturing processes
+ Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
Education and Experience: (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering required
+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required
+ 3 years electrical design experience
+ 3 years PLC programming
+ Have experience with Inventor, Fusion 360, Eagle or equivalent CAD design software
+ Can reverse engineer, design, and draft electrical wiring diagrams
+ Enjoy working in a team environment
+ Can design multi-level circuit boards
+ Semiconductor industry experience is a plus
+ Deduction skills for troubleshooting and repairing machinery is a plus
+ Mechanical skills with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical machinery is a plus
+ Background - Pass a post-offer background verification.
Work Environment
Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation. Occasionally may be required to travel as required to other facilities, clients, or suppliers.
