Design the Future of Aircraft Electrical Systems

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Electrical Equipment Engineer to join a world-class aerospace team in Everett, WA. This role is essential in designing, integrating, and troubleshooting electrical components and wiring harnesses for commercial aircraft. If you have experience with NX, wire routing, and electrical system integration, this is your opportunity to work on cutting-edge aviation technology while making a direct impact on aircraft performance and safety.

What You’ll Do Design and integrate wiring harnesses and electrical components into commercial aircraft monuments. Ensure compliance with FAA, OEM, vendor, and internal requirements for electrical integration. Collaborate within an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to define scope, schedule, and deliverables. Utilize NX and Teamcenter to create, modify, and publish detailed electrical designs. Conduct peer reviews of CAD models to ensure accuracy and compliance. Design brackets and fixations for electrical components and wiring as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing and field issues related to electrical systems. Work with suppliers to evaluate materials and parts for new designs. What You Bring

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of experience in wire harness design and integration within commercial aircraft. Strong expertise in 3D modeling packages like NX for wire routing and electrical component integration. Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability, Quality, and Producibility to meet cost and performance targets. Experience with AutoCAD 2D drawings and working in a team-oriented environment. This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.   

Preferred Skills & Experience

Prior experience in aircraft interiors electrical systems design. Familiarity with FAA regulations and aircraft wiring specifications. Pay Details: $69.17 per hour
