Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will work under the guidance of a senior engineer to provide technical design and construction documents for commercial building power, lighting, and special systems. You will collaborate closely with different design team members, architects, owners, and facilities staff. Your role will include concept planning, system review, load calculations, equipment selection, and construction document creation using Revit MEP. You will also participate in construction administration and internal department meetings to establish company standards and training guides.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and collaborate with design team members, architects, owners, and facilities staff.Assist in initial concept planning and review of system options.Perform power and lighting load calculations using applicable computer software.Perform selective coordination, short circuit, and arc flash calculations using SKM software.Work closely with equipment vendors and manufacturers' representatives for selection and specification of appropriate equipment.Create highly coordinated construction documents using 3D Revit MEP.Conduct construction administration responsibilities including submittal reviews, construction inspections, and field troubleshooting.Participate in weekly internal department meetings to help establish company standards and training design guides.Essential SkillsDegree in a related field.2-5 years' experience in electrical design.Proficiency in Revit MEP.Additional Skills & QualificationsPE license is a plus.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
