Job Description
This position will be responsible for working with and/or leading a group of engineers on technical activities, ensuring completion of tasks on time and within budget. The role involves designing, developing, analyzing, documenting, and supporting the testing of products, systems, and/or subsystems. The candidate will use computer-aided engineering (CAD) schematic capture and/or other design/analysis software for assignments. Experience with military hardware and cabling, and/or circuit card assembly design is essential. This position is expected to last up to six months.
ResponsibilitiesWork with and/or lead a group of engineers on technical activities.Ensure completion of tasks on time and within budget.Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, and/or subsystems.Use CAD schematic capture and/or other design/analysis software for assignments.Design and develop electrical systems and architecture.Interface hardware components into a complete spec compliant system.Design and maintain system Interface Control Documents (ICD).Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.Minimum of 5 years of electrical design experience.Experience with military hardware and cabling and/or circuit card assembly design.Knowledge and experience with engineering drawing applications (CANVAS X Pro a plus).Experience with Circuit Card CAD applications (ALTIUM a plus).Experience with circuit simulation applications.Ability to determine hardware compatibility of a system.Strong mechanical aptitude.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
