Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Engineer Responsibilities + Design electrical power and communication circuits for robotics and automation systems. + Create schematics, calculate power requirements/limits, and select appropriate electronic components within design constraints. + Develop and test physical prototypes to validate design concepts and identify potential issues. + Utilize ECAD software to design circuit boards. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems within electrical systems, implementing corrective actions. + Serve as your own electrical technician to support development and testing. + Ensure electrical designs comply with industry and regional safety standards. + Develop and implement control systems engineering and feedback systems to regulate electrical devices and processes. + Work with microcontrollers, integrated circuits, and printed circuit boards to optimize system performance. + Research and integrate the latest commercially available electronic components to drive innovation. Essential Skills + PCB design + Prototyping + Electrical system design + Robotics automation Additional Skills & Qualifications + BA degree in Electrical Engineering + 2+ years of PCB Design experience in the automation industry + Experience diagnosing failing equipment + Experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters Work Environment The role involves 30% testing and diagnosing what you designed, 30% designing, 30% R&D – developing new switches, new LED application lighting schemes, human interface touch screens, incorporating all that instruments, and 10% maintaining existing systems. The team consists of about 20 people on-site Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
