**Description** SAIC is seeking an **Electrical Engineer** to join in and support our team at our customer site in **North Charleston, SC** . The Engineer will be focused on supporting the design and integration of the **Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) on United States Marine Corps vehicles such as the Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV).** Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): + Perform Finite Element Analysis on mechanical systems, equipment, and packages. + Support design and modeling of mechanical parts and assemblies in CREO and/or SolidWorks. + Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. + Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. + Provides design information to drafting for packaging documentation. + Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope. + Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. + Contributes to completion of routine technical tasks. **Qualifications** **Required Education and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience. + Must have experience with engineering design, modeling, and drawing development + Knowledge of systems engineering and integration principles such as requirements definition, verification and validation testing, interface control documents (ICDs) and systems engineering management plans (SEMP). + Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and work well independently and as part of a team. + Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. **Desired Experience:** + Familiar with quality management systems, familiar with ASME drafting standards, troubleshooting experience, experience with Product Data Management Systems (e.g., CMPRo, Windchill, iPDM).SolidWorks and/or CREO.
