GS-11: $83,742 - $108,859 GS-12: $100,371 - $130,488 Responsibilities You will serve as Electrical Engineer, Engineering and Planning Department, Portsmouth, Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME. You will coordinate all efforts of Design Division on assigned systems. You will formulate test programs and operating procedures. You will prepare designs and specifications. You will make special studies of unconventional operating requirements. You will determine and specify tolerances for all components and the overhaul system parameters. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience or knowledge with electronic submarine or similar systems, operating principles, component functions and testing requirements. Experience resolving emergent problems that may delay project completion. Experience planning and executing assignments and projects to meet overall objectives. Experience to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
