Electrical Engineer
Lead the electrical and controls design team for in-house products, ensuring cost-effective solutions.Adhere to Quality Management Systems to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.Develop system schematics, electrical wiring, and panel layouts.Deliver designs that align with customer requirements, working independently with minimal supervision.Handle systems operating at 50/60Hz and within the 10 to 400-amp range.Size and specify electrical components for panels, including circuit breakers, fuses, contactors, relays, low-voltage power supplies, transformers, terminal strips, I/O devices, and wire ducts.Design electrical panels with interfaces to process control and motion systems, such as brushless motor drive amplifiers, stepper motor drive amplifiers, PLCs, and CNCs.5–10 years of experience in designing industrial electrical and electronic equipment and machinery.Expertise in designing power distribution systems, control circuits, process control, and drive systems.Proficient in working with equipment powered by 480V.Skilled in preparing and releasing electrical drawing packages for manufacturing, with experience in documentation and drawing revision control.Extensive experience in sizing and specifying electrical control components for panels, including circuit breakers, fuses, contactors, relays, low-voltage power supplies, and more.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.25 - $65.00/hr.
