Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Engineer

ResponsibilitiesAssist Sales in preparing technical proposals and pricing on engineered orders.Support Sales in making sales calls and customer contacts.Interpret customer-supplied specifications, drawings, and one-line diagrams for solution development and cost estimates.Design and develop the best cost/performance product.Manage design packages to the Drafting department.Generate test procedures and manuals required with the product.Work with Assembly, Procurement, and field technicians during build, test, or startup to resolve issues.Coordinate engineering response and action plans.Work as part of a project team to deliver cost-effective, manufacturable designs.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.3+ years of experience in developing and creating new products in the electromechanical products space.Experience with OEM electrical design activities, preferably in power design, generation, distribution, or protection.Experience working with industrial equipment.Knowledge of ERP systems.Experience in power conversion, switchgear, utility, electrical construction, substations, and generators.Work Environment

The work environment is an office setting currently attached to a manufacturing floor. The team will be relocating to a new office nearby in the next couple of months. You will work with a team of four other engineers. Approximately 90% of the workday will be spent at a desk, with the remaining 10% on the manufacturing floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $63.00/hr.
