**Description**
The Electrical Engineer will work on project teams to create world class designs for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of projects including airports, commercial, government, military and ports facilities. The Electrical Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting electrical plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.
+ Perform and lead electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
+ Modify and review production drawings for a variety of projects, including, but not limited to, airports, commercial, government, military, and port facilities.
+ Design electrical components for project needs and requirements, such as single-line and riser diagrams and low to medium-voltage infrastructure, as set forth by the project managers.
+ Applies strong knowledge of commonly used electrical engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the electrical engineering services industry.
+ Research and compile project-related data as required by the project managers.
+ Quality review production drawings for a variety of projects and project-related data as required by the project managers to verify that corrections are made within multiple CAD/BIM-related software.
+ Compiles information for client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration for the design of airports, commercial, government, military and ports facilities.
+ Perform and lead field inspections, measurements or calculations for public and private clients.
+ Apply knowledge and experience to complex projects, find non-standard design solutions.
+ All other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program and 3 years of electrical engineering and consulting experience required. 6 preferred.
+ Successful completion of Professional Engineering License (PE) strongly preferred.
+ Telecom/Electronic Security Systems (RCDD) background preferred.
+ Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
+ Experience with DoD, DoE or ports entities preferred.
+ Skilled in applying CAD/BIM standards.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
+ Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. Strong knowledge of electrical equipment design ANSI and IEEE Standards. Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
+ Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM (short circuit, coordination and arc flash studies software), lighting calculation software and generator sizing software preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience with leading the discipline design for large projects and delegating work tasks to team members. Ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment.
+ Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications.
**Compensation**
$125,000.00-230,000.00 Annually
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
