Location: Anaheim, CA, USWhat You Will Be Doing- Design electrical systems including lighting, power, light safety and security systems
- Development of calculations for lighting systems and associated controls
- Preparation of detailed design documents
- Performing QA/QC of design work
- Leading project teams and serving as the primary contact for discipline for clients
- Coordinating work with other disciplines
- Overseeing and providing guidance of junior engineers
- Assisting with the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations and participation in project interviewsWhat You Need for this Position- Electrical engineering knowledge: A strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, electrical codes, and industry standards is essential for designing electrical systems and calculations for lighting systems.
- Design software proficiency: Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other similar software is necessary for creating detailed design documents.
- Project management skills: Project management skills are required for leading project teams, coordinating work with other disciplines, overseeing and providing guidance to junior engineers, and ensuring the timely completion of projects.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively interact with clients, project teams, and other disciplines.
- Attention to detail: Attention to detail is necessary for performing QA/QC of design work to ensure that all designs are of high quality and meet the requirements of the client.
- Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills are required for leading project teams and serving as the primary contact for discipline for clients.
- Client relations: Experience in developing client relations and participating in project interviews is essential for assisting with the procurement of new work.
