Job DescriptionProSidian Seeks an Electrical Engineer - Engineering (DS109) (Engagement Team | Exempt - Time and Materials) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.
This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients (For Present / Future Requirements) and ProSidian Team Members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of an Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category Electrical Engineer DS 109 DS109) to fulfill T&M - Time and Materials (T&M) requirements.
Electrical Engineer - Engineering (DS109) Candidates shall work to support requirements for RFP187871 Electrical Engineer (Engineering Services) and provide engineering services on assigned SRR Engineering Teams.
Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walk-downs, design development, and generation of design output documents including but not limited to:
Single Line Drawings;Electrical Equipment Lists;Control System Design;Electrical Equipment Specifications;Bulk Material Specifications;Circuit/Raceway/Wiring/Connection Design;Grounding;Heat Tracing;Fire Detection.Individuals at times will be required to travel off-Site to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other Engineering organizations.Engineering services will be provided using SRR processes and procedures.Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRR.#TechnicalCrossCuttingJobs #EnergyTechnology #Jugaad #SavannahRiver #EnvironmentalManagement

Experience/Skills:
Requisite work experience and technical skills to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the Electrical Engineers working and performing tasks in the Energy Industry (Oil and Gas / Power and Utilities / Nuclear Energy)Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years of design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry.The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of NEC code requirements.Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) will be preferred.The candidate must have the ability to walk down systems in the field.Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)Education: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
Work Hours: A 40-hour workweek is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, as allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
Location: Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina
