Location: Essen, Germany 

Responsibilities: 

Design electrical and functional systems for electrical transport refrigeration systems.

Specify and validate high-voltage refrigeration systems on electrically powered vehicles in both laboratory settings and at customer or truck manufacturer facilities.

Analyze and evaluate electrotechnical tests on components, prototypes, and problematic systems.

Plan, perform, and support specific measurements for product release (CE, ECE R10, ECE R100, etc.).

Coordinate projects with international development teams and external consultants.

Collaborate closely with local production and in-house workshops in the development of new cooling machines.

Requirements: 

Degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power electronics.

More than 4 years of professional experience in an industrial company.

Specialist knowledge of vehicle electronics, HV battery systems, and bus systems is advantageous.

Independent and structured working style with strong technical analysis skills.

Experience in preparing circuit diagrams and specifying electrical components.

Knowledge of CAN-Communication and software architecture is a plus.

Qualification for working on vehicles with high-voltage systems in accordance with DGUV Information 209-093 (ECE R100) is beneficial.

Familiarity with tools like CREO (Schematics), ORACLE, and WINDCHILL is an advantage.

Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.

Strong communication skills.

High motivation, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in an independent team.
