P2S has an excellent opportunity for a talented electrical engineer to support our healthcare studio in our **Seattle, WA office.** The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience designing Electrical systems for new and existing buildings.
Employment Type: Full-time
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days In-office / 2 Remote
Salary: $89,440-$122,720
Level: Mid
**General Responsibilities:**
Pre-Design Engineering
+ Review existing as-built drawings.
+ Perform field investigations.
+ Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines.
+ Collaborate with team members regarding design coordination, schedules, and deliverables.
+ Perform feasibility studies.
+ Prepare schematic designs.
Design Engineering
+ Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules.
+ Design lighting selection and controls.
+ Design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.
+ Perform Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies.
+ Experience with low voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) systems a plus
Position Requirements
+ Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Field
+ Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification is preferred
+ LEED Accreditation is a plus
+ PE License is a plus
+ Experience with healthcare projects is preferred
Working Knowledge
+ Microsoft Office Suite
+ AutoCAD
+ Revit
+ Washington State Building Code
+ National Electrical Code
+ Net Zero Energy/Carbon experience a plus
