L1:

 Estimated annual base pay:  $66,320.00 (minimum) - $82,900.00 (midpoint) - $99,480.00 (maximum)

L2:

 Estimated annual base pay:  $82,720.00 (minimum) - $103,400.00 (midpoint) - $124,080.00 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re an Electrical Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

The Electrical Engineer 1 and Engineer 2, , both report to the Engineering Leader and are responsible for performing routine engineering functions that require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in executing a sequence of related tasks. Both roles necessitate a moderate level of supervision, with most work being reviewed by a more senior engineer.

The key distinctions between the two levels are the degree of supervision required and the extent of interaction with external stakeholders. Engineer 1 requires moderate to high supervision and has limited contact with customers and suppliers. In contrast, Engineer 2 requires moderate supervision and may engage in project-specific relationship building with customers, suppliers, and other external organizations.

What you will be doing…

L1:

Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.Recognizes problems that are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the area.Learns the steps involved to incorporate process improvements.Performs routine functions that require application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.Learns to investigate products and documents findings in report format.Does component tests with predefined test plan.Documents/archives/retrieves drawings from storage system.Basic design and implementation of low complex hardware boards and circuits.May participate in international and multi-site projects.

L2:

Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and is learning from the experts in the area.May implement process improvements on a project level.Performs work that involves the use of conventional engineering practices.Investigates products and documents findings in report format.Writes and performs component tests with some supervision.Possibly guide/direct a technician or Level 1 Engineer.Documents/archives/retrieves drawings from storage system.Design, support, and/or test of low to moderate complexity hardware boards and circuits.Complete/coordinate low to medium complex derivatives.

What we are looking for…

L1:

US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Engineering required

 L2:

US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Engineering requiredLess than 2 years, greater than 1 year experience in related field or entry level Masters of Science degree required
