The Engineer 2, Electrical, reports to the Engineering Leader and is responsible for the performance of routine functions which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. This position requires a moderate level of supervision; most work is still reviewed by a more senior engineer. In addition, this level may participate in project-specific relationship building with Customers, Suppliers, individuals or organizations.

What you will be doing…Layout Printed Circuit Boards to Industry and Woodward Standards to meet customer requirements.Interface with Packaging Engineering to create/revise PCBs.Generate all post-processing files and fab drawings to Woodward requirements.Responsible for approval, release, and tracking of all PCB design information including all information to Documentation Control upon release of a new design.Interface with Manufacturing Engineering for PCB or Footprint changes needed on new and existing PCBs.What we are looking for…BS degree in Engineering requiredGreater than 8 years in related field required, including post-graduate experienceIPC CID Certified Preferred5 years minimum PCB Layout experienceExperience with Mentor Xpedition Enterprise including Designer, Layout, Drawing editor, and Library ManagerThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).   All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.  The ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (i.e., 'Green Card holder'), or a protected person (e.g., asylee, or refugee).Woodward is an Equal Opportunity Employer EO/AA/M/F/Disabled/Protected Veterans #LI-AT1#LI-HYBRID
