The Position

In this key role you will be entrusted with the Electrical and Electronics  design of Laboratory equipment. You will be working closely with, and learning from, best-in-class Marketing, collaborate with Project Management, Operations, multi-functional engineering, and scientific teams of a diverse group of backgrounds.

Primary Responsibilities

You will work among a highly skilled R&D team, playing a key role in analytical instrument design.

Responsible for Electrical design, assembly, testing and developing technical documents, including schematics and printed circuit board layout design documents.

Design products to meet EMC compliance certification and safety requirements.

Develop evaluation plan to meet the products overall performance, reliability, and safety.

Independently lead design reviews, track and close-out design issues associated with the products by collaborating with the team.

Educational  Qualification:

Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and minimum 5+ years of work experience.

Skill Requirements/Experience:

Prior experience with developing, testing and resolving functional systems.

Experience with PADS for designing PCBs.

Knowledge of USA and EU regulatory requirements.

Knowledge and experience with communication protocols such as USB, Modbus, RS232, and Ethernet.

Ability to multi-task and operate efficiently in a fast-paced product development environment with multiple projects.

Ability to understand and solve design challenges both independently and as part of a design team.

Excellent communication, organization, follow-up, and documentation skills
