**Summary:**
The Wrist Wearables team is searching for an Electrical Engineering Intern to shape the future of neural input wrist wearables. You'll explore reliable methods for on/off wrist detection and tightness measurement . You'll design innovative circuits for wrist wearables, explore reliable methods for on/off wrist detection, tightness measurement, analyze trade-offs, investigate and implement hardware solutions, explore algorithms for on-off wrist detection and tightness measurement. You'll evaluate different approaches to identify the most effective and reliable methods for both current and next-generation designs to guide the development of next-generation wearable technologies. This role offers hands-on experience in circuit design, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the chance to impact the future of wearable tech.Our internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
**Required Skills:**
Electrical Engineer Intern Responsibilities:
1. Become familiar with EMG Wristband architecture, hardware design.
2. Deep dive into operational theory of circuits, power electronics, and/or signal integrity
3. Develop test plans, execute validation, and publish findings to team
4. Partner with team peers for development of a new module
**Minimum Qualifications:**

5. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
6. Experience with electrical test lab equipment (e.g. Oscilloscope, Analyzers, DMM, Power Supply, etc.)
7. Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware issues at board level
8. Experience with circuit design and strong analog fundamentals
9. Experience with algorithms and signal processing
10. Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

11. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
12. Basic experience of Machine Learning
13. Detail oriented, collaborative, and communications skills
14. Experience in signal integrity or high-speed communication interfaces
15. Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
**Public Compensation:**
$6,688/month to $11,134/month + benefits
