**Description**
**SAIC is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer in Hanahan, SC.**
This role will support the USMC Installation Counter small Unmanned Aircraft System (I-CsUAS).
USMC Installation Counter small Unmanned Aircraft System (I-CsUAS) will support PM-GBAD to procure the design, installation, and long-term sustainment services to fully support Installation-Counter small Unmanned Aircraft System (I-CsUAS). This includes the integration, delivery, and sustainment of mission optimized I-CsUAS solutions to meet the evolving technology and operational requirements of small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) identification and response capabilities.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Researches, designs, develops, modifies, evaluates and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
+ Conducts experimental tests on equipment and evaluates results.
+ Develops specifications for selecting components and equipment to use.
+ May also review vendors' abilities to support development.
+ Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
+ Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
+ Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
+ Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
+ Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
+ Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications.
+ Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
+ Prepares deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met.
+ Reviews all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness and proper signatures.
+ May structure and maintain databases.
+ Submits engineering changes to customers for review and approval; maintains records and submit reports regarding status.
+ Prepares configuration verification audit record sheets for all programs.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree and Nine (9+) years experience in the description of work above.
+ Experience researching, designing, developing, evaluating and testing a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.
+ Active Secret Clearance.

+ Valid UAS license (107)
