**Senior Electrical Engineer**
**Function:** Engineering
**Location:** Remote (Quarterly travel to the home office in Waukesha, WI, and some travel to job sites)
**Work Mode:** Hybrid (Remote with travel requirements)
**Reporting to:** Engineering Manager – US

We are searching for a motivated Senior Electrical Engineer who is ready to contribute their skills and expertise to our dynamic environment.
**Job Purpose**
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will produce comprehensive electrical designs and provide input and support at all stages of a project, from sales through to installation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and translate concepts into designs to meet functional and contractual specifications of secured orders.
+ Support sales stages of projects, ensuring the preparation of high-quality conceptual design and tender documents.
+ Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers to identify project requirements and develop detailed designs.
+ Coordinate with CAD Designers to ensure timely and quality production of design packages.
+ Provide support during design, installation, commissioning, and testing phases, ensuring timely production of necessary documentation.
+ Liaise with customers and their representatives as necessary.
+ Participate, and where appropriate, lead HAZOP and risk assessment studies.
+ Conduct site visits for meetings and surveys (up to 30% travel).
+ Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality management policies in all work activities.
**Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills**
+ Current knowledge of engineering design software (CAD, ETAP, SKM, or equivalent).
+ Project management skills.
+ Experience with proposal development, interpreting and developing scope documents, estimating, and risk mitigation.
+ Proficiency with:
+ AutoCAD drafting package
+ One-line and three-line diagrams
+ Arc-flash hazard calculations
+ Protective relay and metering diagrams
+ AC/DC schematics
+ Panel and equipment layouts
+ Connection Diagrams
+ Bill of Materials
+ Cable Schedules
+ DC power distribution design
+ Construction and equipment specifications
+ Grounding Analysis and Design
+ MV/LV power distribution, substation, and switchgear design
+ IEC, UL, and NFPA Electrical standards

**Recruitment and Succession Requirements**
**Essential**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
+ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in power generation (1-25MW) or Renewable Natural Gas
+ Knowledge of low and medium voltage power trains, control and instrumentation
+ Knowledge of switchgear, motor control, power transformers, cables, UPS systems, protective relaying, grounding, lightning protection, and utility interconnection
+ Technical leadership experience
+ Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD drafting package
**Desirable**
+ Professional registration (PE)
+ Experience in CHP, Microgrid, Battery, and Solar PV
+ Experience with SKM, ETAP, Homar
