This is a salaried/exempt position with an annual estimated salary of $140,000.00 which will be based on a candidate’s work history and experience. Evaluate electrical designs for use on future Lunar Missions. Produce new proto-flight circuit boards for a BUS and microfluidics and BUS utilizing high TRL designs. Contribute to new design concepts for electronics and radiation shielding designs. Participate in radiation testing of components or new circuit designs. Collaborate NASA cognizant engineering in the area of radiation electronics and modeling when evaluating ABEST electronics design solutions. Collaborate with other NASA field centers on radiation analysis. Work with the microfluidics team to select new payload pump and valve designs. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, within related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience; plus 10 years of applicable experience.
