Job Title: Electrical Engineering Hardware Manager

Job Description

Lead and mentor the team responsible for the development of design concepts and architectures to support current and future launch vehicles. Identify tasks and resources required to meet company objectives, develop schedules for completion, track progress against schedules, and make corrections when necessary. Work with outside vendors and contractors to improve their performance against design requirements and schedule. Contribute directly to Avionics hardware development tasks, including circuit design, harness design, and systems integration.

ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor the hardware engineering team.Develop and track schedules to meet company objectives.Identify necessary tasks and resources.Work with vendors and contractors to ensure design requirements and schedules are met.Contribute to Avionics hardware development tasks such as circuit design, harness design, and systems integration.Essential Skills10+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering.2-3 years of experience as a lead or manager.Expertise in electrical engineering, hardware engineering, and leadership.Experience in the aerospace industry; automotive experience is also applicable.Familiarity with SMC 16 or STD – DO160 standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience leading a team of 10 people, including Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and a Technician.Ability to help entry- junior engineers grow and conduct design reviews.Firmware experience in Embedded C, VHDL, or Verilog is a bonus.Work Environment

Office setting with occasional site visits as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $200000.00 - $200000.00/yr.

Stock from day 1, bonus, growing company- major mission is going to the moon right now; has two other missions already under contract

This is a fully onsite position in Cedar Park,TX.
