Period of Work: May-August 2025 Full-Time: 40 hours a week Location: McLean, VA In Office Requirement: Hybrid (2-3 days a week onsite) Clearance Requirement: Will be submitted for U.S. Government Secret The DODIN Joint Warfighter Capabilities department’s (N242) mission is to enable DoD technology and information superiority through a work program that is focused on providing rapid & resilient cloud capabilities, reimagining the Global DoD Network, and modernizing legacy C2 & communications. Job Responsibilities: + RF Spectrum Data Analysis: Assist in processing RF spectrum data from various test events using MATLAB/Python, ensuring completeness and developing metrics and tools for further analysis. + RF Spectrum and Propagation Modelling: Contribute to the development of propagation and interference models, simulating scenarios to assess the impact on communication systems. + Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings, methodologies, and progress for review by senior engineers and project stakeholders. Basic Qualifications: + Must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program in Electrical Engineering or a related degree and continue to be enrolled full-time the semester following the internship. + Sustained excellence in academic performance. + Experience preparing, analyzing, modeling, and visualizing data with tools such as Python and MATLAB. + Understanding of SATCOM or RF engineering principles, including link budget analysis, spectrum analysis, and propagation modeling. + Ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance.
